We owe this to the brew boiler mounted directly above the brew group, which is passively heated as the machine warms up. If you want, you can switch off the steam boiler to save energy. On that note, steam performance is respectable and the two hole steam tip is perfect for high speed frothing, dispensing high pressure over a wide area.
The all copper and braided stainless steel high-pressure lines on the inside of the machine are a nice touch, as well, owing to Profitec's thoroughly professional engineering. Plus, the vibration pump sits on rubber mounts so the machine stays quiet while brewing.
