Doses are programmed within 1/10th of a gram/second based on your operating mode. The etzMAX X also ships with a 500g calibration weight to recalibrate the built-in scale as needed.
The newly-designed XP Cone rotating ring burr gives the etzMAX X an impressive grind speed of up to 5.5 grams per second, and the anti-static jig means your grounds fall directly into the portafilter or dosing cup clean and pillowy with near-zero retention. The new AC motor is kept cool by the improved Rush-Hour Cooling System, which prevents overheating in the chamber to maintain consistent extractions when grinding multiple shots back-to-back.
This grinder features a series of stepped macro-adjustments to grind size as well as stepless, micro-adjustments that allow for precision dialing in across roast profiles.
